Jean Philippe Gleizes – Killer Whale Chair

This tall graphic design chair in folded and patinated metal, of primitive inspiration, constitutes one of the first iconic pieces of the gallery, in the 80s. It was integrated into the collection of the FNAC (Fond National d’Art Contemporain of France) and is part of the selection of the “Hundred Chairs Of The Century”at the Boulogne Billancourt Cultural Center.

More recently, in 2023 it was exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (MAD), as part of the “80s” exhibition.It is made by Diego Giacometti’s ironworker, who works exclusively for the gallery and produced certain elements of the interior architecture of the Picasso Museum, Paris.
