Four decades of design

The gallery En Attendant les Barbares is at the origin of a decorative movement, the “barbarian style”
which introduced artistic craftsmanship into the field of design at the beginning of the 80s.

First historical publisher of Garouste & Bonetti whose pieces we still publish, custom-made pieces, the Gallery En Attendant les Barbares was also the first gallery to exhibit Elizabeth Garouste after her separation with Mattia Bonetti.

Other artists of the gallery: Eric Schmitt, Andrée Putman, Arik Lévy, Christian Ghion, Eric Jourdan.

Our next exhibition will be a solo exhibition of Mattia Bonetti.

Pierre Basse, ironworker of Diego Giacometti, is the exclusive ironworker of the gallery.
