Eric Robin see biography
A graduate of Decorative Arts in Paris with honors, Eric Robin, born in 1968, began as an assistant to Christian Ghion. He also collaborates with Andrée Putman.
Very attentive to the plant world in all its forms, he quickly develops a very personal style.
One of his latest projects is located in the gardens of Villa Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent, in Marrakech.
Since 2014, he has been teaching at the MJM Graphic Design School of Applied Arts in Paris in the Interior Decoration section, then at that of Bordeaux where he has settled since 2018.
2001: “Eight designers confronting bronze”, collective exhibition, gallery En Attendant les Barbares, Paris.
2007: Beginning of collaboration with the Keops agency on interior fitting projects for Mercedes, Nuxe, Grands Chais de France, Lanson, Larsen.
2015: Original designs for floor coverings and layout of the Parisian showroom for the ARKIT brand.
2017: Scenography of the “BOLON by Jean Nouvel” collection.
2010: Beginning of collaboration with “La Source”, an association of Gérard Garouste.
2012: “Arborescences”, solo exhibition at the gallery En Attendant les Barbares, Paris.
2016: “Artprotects”, in partnership with the Yvon Lambert gallery, Paris.
2018: “Carbonifère”, personal exhibition at the Eric Gizard gallery, Paris.
2019: Portrait in the book “Céramique – 90 Artistes Contemporains” by Charlotte Vannier and Véronique Pettit Laforêt, Pyramyd editions.
